Rākau was named due to 2 reasons.

​

Firstly, the house was held up being moved due to a tree that was on the property. Somehow the tree roots had become entangled in the underground services and power feeding into the house.

 

Second, it also links to the fact that this house will be a foundation for a whānau to lay down their new roots

​

Rākau hasn’t been started yet and could be an ideal blank canvas for someone that wants to custom design the renovation alongside our design crew
